Jennifer Reed, RN

My name is Jennifer Reed, and I am honored to be the Director of Nursing at Premier Kids Home Care. I’ve worked in the world of pediatric home health for 8 years, with 6 of those years in supervisory roles. Starting as a field nurse allowed me the foundation to grow into leadership while never forgetting my humble beginnings. I remember what it was like to feel like just a number, another cog in the wheel, unappreciated and with minimal training offered. As a leader, I am never inconvenienced to provide help when asked or support when needed. It is my mission to make sure all nurses and families know we are in their corner, just as much as it is a priority to give all our nurses the training and tools they need to succeed. I pride myself on the relationships and rapport I build with our families and nurses, and make sure everyone feels the appreciation they deserve. It is a gift to be able to provide care to such a precious population, and we don’t take that gift lightly. We hold ourselves to a higher standard because that’s what every medically fragile child deserves. PKHC is the agency that does it better, and I’m grateful to work for a company with values that align with my own.
